As a Christian with first-hand insight into the life of a clergy family, I take on referrals from Diocese and other agencies, as well as individuals.

Counselling for church leader’s families

I have a particular passion for supporting the husbands, wives, and children of clergy and other church leaders. My personal experience of living and raising a family within a clergy home for 22 years give me a unique insight into the pressures and pleasures it offers.

Training for pastoral care

I have a variety of experience of working for and being part of church communities for over 30 years and a specific passion to see Pastoral Care delivered and supported well in this context. From those involved in informal listening and visiting at church to those leading home groups and mentoring, it is important for people to know what the boundaries of their responsibilities are, and to be aware of support and other agencies to refer on to. I am available to consult with churches on the training, resourcing and support of paid pastoral staff and volunteers.
